HUMAN RIGHTS POLICY

The Fantasy Box is dedicated to conducting its operations and business activities in a manner that upholds the dignity and human rights of all individuals. We commit to complying with all laws relevant to our business, prioritizing the most stringent standards when local laws and international standards diverge. The U.N. Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) serve as our primary framework for identifying and addressing significant human rights harms in our operations, activities, and supply chains.

The Fantasy Box actively engages in recognizing and respecting the fundamental rights outlined in the International Bill of Human Rights, which basis is grounded in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Covenant on Economic, Social, and Cultural Rights, and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. Adhering to the core worker freedoms set forth by the International Labor Organization (ILO), specifically the ILO’s Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work and the ILO’s 2014 Protocol strengthening the ILO’s original Forced Labor Convention.

Diversity and inclusivity are woven into our company ethos, promoting equality of opportunity and fostering a workplace that welcomes individuals irrespective of their race, ethnicity, age, religious belief, gender, sexual orientation, social status, or any other identifying characteristic. Discrimination, retaliation, and harassment in any form are strictly prohibited, and we actively advocate for respect towards all workers, business partners, and rights-holders affected by our activities.

The Fantasy Box sources a wide range of commodities globally, as such we are committed to providing competitive wages and benefits to workers, respecting their right to join a union and engage in collective bargaining as set forth in the Conventions of the ILO. Our adherence to ILO Conventions ensures a safe, healthy, harassment-free workplace that upholds all worker rights.

Maintaining a zero-tolerance policy toward modern slavery, including child, forced, and trafficked labor, we actively participate in the global campaign against modern slavery. Compliance with laws preventing forced labor is paramount, and we align with efforts to prevent forced labor, particularly in China. Our commitment includes compliance with the U.S. Tariff Act, the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA), and the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act. We enforce our commitments by requiring Sellers to affirm their supply chains' absence of forced labor, with the right to terminate relationships if non-compliance is detected.

Adhering to UNGPs, we conduct due diligence to identify and remedy adverse human rights impacts associated with our business activities. In-depth due diligence is conducted in response to credible evidence or allegations, and independent human rights experts may be engaged when specialized assessment is required.

Grievance mechanisms are integral to our due diligence, ensuring effective feedback collection and providing meaningful remedy when human rights are adversely impacted.

To combat corruption, we strictly prohibit bribery and improper payments to foreign officials, aligning with the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the U.N. Convention Against Corruption.

All employees are obligated to comply with this Policy, with disciplinary actions, including termination, for non-compliance. Similar expectations apply to our sellers, suppliers, and business partners, with non-compliance grounds for canceling orders and commercial agreements, and potentially terminating future business relationships with The Fantasy Box.
