The Ransomed has to find the items and send text messages to him as proof of finding and following the clues. While the hidden objects might grab her attention, the clues are designed to shift her focus—and desire—to the mastermind behind this escapade. As you might have guessed, they do meet up at the finale for a climax that any action thriller would envy.
